Phytome Life Sciences recently had the pleasure of hosting members of the Devon and Cornwall Police, including Drug Expert Witnesses and Drug Liaison Officers, at their research facility. This visit marked a significant opportunity for knowledge exchange between the two organisations, highlighting the intersection of law enforcement and scientific research.

A representative for Phytome Life Sciences stated “We were delighted to welcome the officers to our campus. The team at Phytome had a great time explaining how controlled plants can be cultivated to develop new licenced botanical drugs and demonstrate the latest extraction and formulation technology, this scientific knowledge transfer forms a key part of the Continued Professional Development of law enforcement professionals”.

The event was not only informative but also instrumental in the Continued Professional Development (CPD) of the attending Drug Experts. The knowledge gained from this visit is expected to enhance their expertise in handling drug-related cases and understanding the complexities of controlled substance cultivation and processing.
